What is Energy Medicine Yoga?

Energy Medicine Yoga® was developed by Lauren Walker. Her goal was to optimize her yoga practice by infusing Eden Energy Medicine techniques and thus started the revolution now known today as Energy Medicine Yoga!
Claire studied this unique yoga while searching for a deeply healing yoga practice after a traumatic event.​ Today Claire is certified as both a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance AND as an Energy Medicine Yoga Foundations Teacher. Currently Claire teaches Energy Medicine Yoga group classes at Buka Yoga in Castle Rock, Colorado.​​

About Gentle Hatha Yoga
with Energy Medicine
Energy Medicine Yoga is a powerful class that is gentle on the body. You’ll work with your body’s energy systems including the aura, meridians and radiant circuits (joy energy).
​
You’ll move energy that has become “stuck” in your body, work through difficult emotions or seasons of your life, and reignite your vitality and feelings of wellbeing.
A typical class will feature standing postures, hip openers, gentle backbends, meridian tracing, holding and/or tapping on specific points on your body or head. And, of course, a restorative Savasana to help you soak in all the energetic benefits of this amazing practice. Suitable for all levels. Recommended props include a yoga blanket and a soft yoga block. Available in studio and online (be sure to pick the option you want at the time of making a reservation).
About Balance Focused Yoga
with Energy Medicine
A light-hearted class designed to help your range of motion, flexibility and emotional state!
We’ll also work with subtle energies of the body to help you feel your radiance/inner peace, increase your vitality and work through the emotional up’s and down’s of modern life. We'll use various modalities...the wall, props, chairs and the mat. This is for anybody wanting to work on balance in all aspects of life...physical balance, emotional balance, energetic balance.
This class focuses on:

Physical coordination (left and right sides of body operating in a crossover pattern)

Physical balance (standing exercises, short standing flows and balancing on one foot) and

Grounding and stress reduction.
